Privacy Policy

雾镜 · Fog Mirror | Effective: October 10, 2026

Before publishing: verify the on-device-only, no-upload, no-third-party-SDK assumptions against the released app, then remove this notice.

1. Overview

Fog Mirror (the “App”) provides a live mirror preview, fog drawing, photography, and saved creations. This policy describes related permissions and data handling.

2. Camera

With permission, the App uses the camera for live preview and fog/drawing effects. In the version assumed by this template, camera frames are processed on-device and are not automatically uploaded to developer servers. You may revoke access in iOS Settings.

3. Microphone and Breath Detection

If breath detection uses the microphone, the App analyzes audio in real time with your permission to trigger fog effects. In the version assumed here, raw audio is neither recorded nor uploaded. Remove this section if the app does not access the microphone.

4. Photos and Videos

Taking photos, recording videos, and saving creations are user-initiated. Saving to Photos requires the applicable system permission. Add-only Photos permission does not require reading your entire library. Media shared via the system share sheet is handled by the destination you select.

5. Local Creations and Preferences

Saved creations, drawing history, presets, and settings may be stored locally, including content, timestamps, and preferences. You can manage or delete them using available app features. Uninstalling generally removes app-sandbox data, but copies in Photos or external backups may remain.

6. Third-Party Services

This template assumes no accounts, advertising, or third-party analytics SDKs, no uploading of camera frames, audio, or creations to developer servers, and no sale of personal information. Update this section before release if cloud sync, online sharing, or analytics are implemented.

7. Security and Retention

The App relies on iOS permissions and local storage. Data remains as needed for features until you delete it or uninstall the App, excluding Photos and external backups. No storage method is perfectly secure.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically designed for children. We address children's personal information in accordance with applicable law.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can manage camera, microphone, and Photos permissions in iOS Settings and manage local creations in the App. Contact us to ask about privacy rights available under applicable law.

10. Policy Changes

We will update this policy and its effective date if data practices change materially, and provide notice where required.
